DUSTIN HOLLYWOOD
Dustin Hollywood is a trailblazing creative force whose work spans photography, film, AI art, and design. He is the founder of NAKID Magazine, the international art, music, and culture publication he launched in 2014 to champion raw, edgy creativity. Dustin also co-founded MASSIVE Studios, a pioneering AI-driven creative agency, and serves as Sr. Director of New Business Strategy, Community & Experiences at ESCAPE.ai. A two-time award-winning AI filmmaker, Dustin is acclaimed for his bold vision and multidisciplinary talent – he’s a cinematographer, visual artist, photographer, painter, designer and art director all in one, constantly pushing boundaries across mediums.
Hollywood’s career began behind the camera in the late 2000s, capturing the electric energy of music festivals and nightlife. His fearless eye led to collaborations with cultural icons and brands – from EDM superstar Steve Aoki (and his Dim Mak label) to lifestyle giants like Red Bull – translating live events into striking visual narratives. In the fashion and art world, Dustin’s images have been commissioned by the likes of Ford Models and Converse, and his editorial photography has appeared in tastemaking publications. As founder and editor-in-chief of NAKID, he built a platform known for its unapologetically vibrant content, with his work regularly featured in outlets such as VICE, Penthouse, Purple Haze Magazine and more. Through every project, Dustin brings a sharp, provocative style that captures emotion and story in equal measure.
In recent years, Dustin Hollywood has become a visionary pioneer of AI-generated filmmaking and immersive art. Embracing cutting-edge technology as a new creative palette, he wrote and directed The Last Artist – billed as the world’s first 100% AI-crafted feature-length film – showcasing his ability to fuse human storytelling with generative visuals. His AI-driven short films and music videos (including He Is King, a reimagining of Dr. King’s legacy through modern AI) have earned official selections at emerging film festivals and avant-garde showcases. In 2025, Dustin’s work was spotlighted at the Venice International Film Festival as part of a groundbreaking live AI cinema exhibition, where he was lauded as one of “the most innovative AI artists on the global scene”. Beyond creating, Hollywood is a passionate educator and speaker, sharing insights on the intersection of technology and art. Across all endeavors, he maintains an unyielding commitment to originality and bold experimentation – continually blurring the line between the artificial and the human to redefine contemporary art on his own terms
“I’m not interested in playing it safe — I build things that bend reality, break rules, and rewire how we think about art. AI isn’t replacing the artist; it’s a new brush, a new lens, a new stage. What matters is the human pulse behind it.”
